I made this pipe on request, the original idea belongs to the person who commissioned me. I really enjooyed making it
The piece was first turned with a lathe to get the shape, then hand-carved.
This pipe is functional and it is made in olive wood (one single piece for the acorn), cherry wood for the petiole, and maple wood steam-bended for the stem. the tip is a removable plug. It also has a little carving on the back.
It is finished wih shellac and carnauba wax.
